DIY: Guitar Picks!
It’s a hassle to go out and buy guitar picks but with just some old gift cards, a pair of scissors, some cardboard and a pen, you can make your own!
Step One! Collect any old iTunes gift-cards (or any other gift-cards) that you have. *Note: You can make about two guitar picks from a standard gift-card.*
Step Two! Get a piece of thin cardboard. You could use an old birthday card or a snippet from a cereal box.
Step Three! Trace the outline of an existing guitar pick onto the piece of cardboard using a pen.
Step Four! Cut the cardboard following the outline you traced. This cardboard guitar pick will now be your template for the next step.
Step Five! Pick any iTunes gift-card you have. Make sure you’ve already redeemed the gift-card though.
Step Six! Place the cardboard template onto the gift-card and trace around it.
Step Seven! Roughly cut the gift-card so you have a smaller piece of the gift-card with your outline on it.
Step Eight! Cut carefully and slowly along the outline until you get your guitar pick!
The End!
You can make as many guitar picks as you want as long as you have some gift-cards! It’s a bit tricky when you make some at the start, but with practice you get heaps better at cutting the gift-cards :D
